Our union is so excited to host our “Fall into Health Fest” happening on Saturday, October 26 from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at our Chicago union office located at 2229 S. Halsted Street.

This event will offer tips for living a healthy and balanced lifestyle and offer various preventative care health services.

In addition, there will be a special screening of “Power to Heal,” a documentary highlighting racial disparities in health outcomes and the ongoing struggle to secure equal and adequate access to healthcare for all Americans.

As SEIU members at Mt. Sinai Hospital prepare to strike if necessary to win justice for workers, patients, and the communities our hospitals serve, this is a great time to learn more about the historical landscape of how our broken healthcare system became what it is today, and to get more information about how you can live a healthier life.
