Help at Home Members Approve New Raises & Seniority Increases

Congratulations! 99.9% of Help at Home SEIU members voted YES to approve our new raises and seniority increases.

The following wage rates are effective January 1, 2020 for all Help at Home workers across Illinois and will be reflected on paychecks February 21, 2020. Any retro pay owed since January 1, 2020 will be on March 6 paychecks.

For purposes of calculating retro pay, we also secured a $12 per hour minimum for workers outside the City of Chicago for home care hours worked between July 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019.

HAH will issue retro pay for home care hours worked from July 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019 on checks February 21, 2020 for workers outside the city of Chicago.
